Situated along the stunning coastal area of South Africa you will work with disadvantaged children in a rural community in and around Plettenberg Bay.
You can choose to assist teachers in the creche or primary school, help with after school clubs, facilitate holiday camps and assist orphaned or underprivileged children children in the safe house.
Volunteers start with a 'grass roots' week to help you understand how this upliftment project works by visiting the projects and local community you will be working with. This will help establish which projects you would like to focus your time, whilst becoming familiar with your new surroundings.
You will be provided with vital on-site support and guidance, offering you a tailored made programme to match the skills and desires that you have, with the needs of local children and communities.
You’ll stay in shared accommodation with other volunteers which is surrounded by mountain views and set amidst beautiful gardens with excellent facilities including a spa pool, BBQ area, TV, internet and phone access.
